A beautiful and interesting study… Second grade students of Ege University Faculty of Agriculture have initiated a fight against the usage of plastic on the scope of their lecture “Application of Community Service”.
Filiz Tepe, the coordinator of the project has asserted that they want to blaze the trail of the elimination of plastic straw consumption in Ege University and says “The plastic wastes in the world’s grounds and seas are threatening our future. The plastic quantity which is mixed in seas each year are 8 million tons and a great quantity remains in the nature without dissolving. Plastic straws has a significant part in these wastes. In order to decrease the consumpiton of the plastic straws, awareness should be increased.”.
